Weightlist helps individuals lose weight and develop lifelong healthy habits by completing challenges in four different categories: Diet, Education, Exercise, and Behavior. See how well you can improve your weight and your health by completing the 40 different challenges in this app! As challenges are completed, logged items are added to lists within the app. Lists that users generate include weight, food, video workout, and recipe lists.
Created by a U.S.-based medical doctor certified in Obesity Medicine*, Weightlist is intended to help people gradually adopt healthy habits that can aid the weight loss process.
Description of the four challenge categories:
Diet - these challenges aid in helping users learn to eat low-calorie density foods that are also low in sodium, added sugar, and saturated fat.
Education - helps with learning a variety of concepts for weight loss, and also learn about free resources that can aid weight loss.
Exercise - gradually helps users increase activity levels by logging either that a certain number of exercise minutes has been completed or a certain step count has been reached in a given 24 hour period.
Behavior - helps users adopt healthy habits. These include habits such as eating food slowly, drinking enough water, and several others.
Other features:
-Challenges are completed at your own pace.
-Minimum time it will take to complete all of the challenges in the app is 6 months.
-Each of the challenge categories (Diet, Education, Exercise, and Behavior) can be completed independently of the others.
-Track your progress as you use the app and complete challenges.
-View stats for the challenge categories as well as stats concerning your weight over time.
-Log your weight into the app at any time. The app keeps track of your weights in your weight list.
-Foods that you log are added to one or more food lists. Food lists include low calorie density, medium calorie density, high calorie density, high sodium, high saturated fat, and high added sugar lists.
-Other items are logged to lists as well, including healthy recipes and workout videos. You can then view these recipes and workout videos at any time from the app.
-You can continue using the app even after all 40 challenges are completed.
-Developer will consider adding more features on request!
Please note: this app does not support logging in across devices at this time. So if you switch devices, the app data will not be available. However, the plus side of this is that your data will only be accessible to you. Your data will not be accessible to the app developer or anyone else.
